CORNISH COUNTRY WINES

As with all our products, our wines are made on the farm using local fruit whenever possible, using traditional methods of pressing, fermenting and maturing. The range changes from year to year and season to season according to harvest.
Cornish Elderflower Wine

To capture the unique floral bouquet of this wine, we harvest the flowers from our own orchards in full sun.
The delicate white flowers are carefully combed off the stalks, steeped in boiling water and left to infuse for 24 hours.
Sugar and water is then added for a short vigorous fermentation to 5% abv.
Prior to bottling, we chill the wine and add a slight effervescence to release all those heady scents of that summer's day.		 elderflower wine
Cornish Summer Fruits Wine

Using a medley of fruits including redcurrant, blackberries, blackcurrants, apple and plums we have created a wine full of summer promise. Fermented to 5% abv it is Medium sweet to taste.

A light refreshing wine. Best served chilled		 blackcurrant wine
   
Cornish Strawberry Wine

Farm pressed local ripe Cornish Strawberries.
Gently squeezed over a period of days imparting the fullness of flavour into the juice.
Fermented to 5% abv. a rich sweetness and a light sparkle.
